As a homeowner you may choose between above and in-ground pools, aluminum or vinyl. The choice is yours. During the consultation, SP will review all your options, discuss what best suites your space and your budget. Together we make decisions that are just as much beautiful as they are affordable.
More homeowners choose vinyl swimming pools than any other type of pool. The many reasons for this include: cost, maintenance, design choices and installation time.
The great news for homeowners excited to enjoy their pool is that installing a vinyl pool takes significantly less time than installing one made of gunite, fiberglass, or concrete. Pools lined with vinyl can take as little as 2–4 weeks to complete, as opposed to 6–8 weeks for other construction materials.
Many counties require fencing around swimming pools as a safety precaution. Individual insurance companies that protect your home may also insist on fencing. Fences also keep out unwanted guests so that they will not accidentally be injured in your pool. The requirements are often that the swimming pool is enclosed on at least three sides, but the home or another structure can make up the fourth side. You may also be required to install alarms on doors that go into the pool area as well. Keep in mind that even if you have an automatic cover on the swimming pool, you will most likely still need to meet fencing requirements. We suggest checking with your local county offices for requirements.
